Smarter Oxygen Monitoring with Cellular Connectivity

Smarter Oxygen Monitoring with Cellular Connectivity

Being one of the leading suppliers of RPM pulse oximeters in the United States, we have managed to establish a new standard in bridging the communication gap between the patients and healthcare providers. Unlike traditional oximeters that require manually recording human data, our cellular oximeter automatically records and transmits data, helping eliminate human error and providing continuity of care for every patient.

RPM allows for continuous monitoring of chronic and acute airway disease processes, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, COVID-19, and heart failure. By collecting and monitoring physiological data, healthcare providers can detect the early progression of disease and reduce the likelihood of health complications.

With automated data transmission, providers can keep a close eye on the patient trends, allowing for a proactive approach to managing care while reducing the risk of emergency hospital admissions and improving long-term care outcomes.

Pulse Oximeter: Product Description

The HealthArc pulse oximeter is a compact, durable, and reliable medical device that measures oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate. It consists of an advanced mainboard, high-contrast OLED display, and standard AAA batteries.

Designed for both clinical and home use, it balances precision with simplicity. Its lightweight design makes it ideal for chronic disease management and post-acute care monitoring.

Pulse Oximeter: Product Description

What Makes HealthArc’s Pulse Oximeter Different from Others?

By providing clinical accuracy, ease-of-use, and advanced connectivity to help facilitate the RPM workflow, our device is tailored for making monitoring simple for patients. Here’s a quick breakdown of the most important features that distinguish the HealthArc Pulse Oximeter from all other devices:

Union
Clinical-Grade Accuracy for SpO₂ and Pulse Rate

The most critical aspect of any monitoring device measuring a physiological characteristic is accuracy. Utilising cutting-edge technology based on advanced photoplethysmography (PPG) allows HealthArc Pulse Oximeter to produce clinically-trustworthy SpO₂ and pulse rate measurements. As such, providers can make better informed decisions based on SpO₂ and pulse data whether they are monitoring patients with chronic respiratory illnesses or assessing progress of recovery after surgery or illness.

Automatic Cellular Connection

The HealthArc Pulse Oximeter provides one of the strongest advantages over other devices, as it features cellular connectivity through LTE-M (4G). This means that users do not need Bluetooth, an app, Wi-Fi, or even to manually sync their device.

• Works anywhere there is cellular service.
• Data will automatically be sent to the HealthArc platform.
• Data reporting through a secure and HIPAA-compliant cloud service.
• No software needs to be installed on patients' devices.

By removing unnecessary barriers and limitations for patients that may not use smartphones or may have limited internet service, this feature increases access to care.

Real-time Data Reporting Within 30 Seconds

With a data update rate of less than 30 seconds, clinicians receive near real-time physiological information from patients using a pulse oximeter. This allows them to intervene earlier, track health trends over time, and proactively manage chronic respiratory conditions.

Approx. 35 Hours of Use with 2 AAA Batteries

Our pulse oximeter runs on two standard AAA batteries and is designed for convenience and long-term use with minimal maintenance.

• Inexpensive to replace batteries.
• Extended battery life for long-term use.
• No proprietary charging dock needed.

This feature allows our pulse oximeter to be deployed quickly with ease of use.

OLED Display Technology34454rz

The HealthArc pulse oximeter uses an OLED display in high contrast with a crisp clear design that presents important clinical results in a user-friendly format.

• SpO₂ level (%)
• Pulse rate
• Plethysmograph waveform
• Fast stabilization time

The clear display reduces errors while building patients’ confidence for self-monitoring at home.

Ergonomic Patient Friendly Design

Due to its small and lightweight design, our pulse oximeter is comfortable to wear when measuring the pulse rate. The rubber tip of the clamp gently holds onto the finger, without pinching or causing discomfort which helps ensure accurate measurements and compliance from patients.

HIPAA Compliant Security

Any data that is transmitted from the HealthArc pulse oximeter is securely transmitted using an encrypted channel and saved within a HIPAA compliant cloud-based server. This protects the patient's privacy; allows for regulatory compliance and can be transferred to a provider in an integrated manner. Providers can be assured that their patient's data is safe during the entire transmission process and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Simple API Integration

HealthArc makes it simple to integrate with different types of clinical platforms through an API that allows providers access to pulse oximeter data along with all other health information in a centralized platform.

Designed for Remote Patient Monitoring

HealthArc's pulse oximeters are designed for all types of remote patient monitoring programs and comes with an oximeter device, two AAA batteries (either pre-installed or ready to install), data lanyard, and clear operating instructions. This package ensures immediate patient onboarding and quicker deployment of remote patient monitoring programs.

Simple to Clean and Durable

The pulse oximeter device is designed for both clinical and home use; can be cleaned easily using recommended disinfecting products; and must be kept dry and out of high-temperature environments to ensure proper functioning and performance through multiple uses.

How to Configure HealthArc’s Pulse Oximeter?

HealthArc’s Oximeter is among the most complete and user-focused remote patient monitoring oximeter available in the United States today. Here’s how patients can operate it:

heart failure

Open the Back Cover

To open the back cover compartment, press the white button and slide the back cover off as indicated by the printed arrows. The simple open/close mechanism of the back cover is designed to keep the back cover from being accidentally damaged when the cover is open. The design of the back cover will allow for easy access to the batteries when needed.

Insert Two AAA Batteries

Place two AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring that you correctly match the plus (+) and minus (–) symbols. Incorrectly placing the batteries will damage the oximeter, and that is why there is a clear label in the compartment to ensure proper battery installation. This will allow for a steady current to provide accurate readings.

Close the Battery Cover

Slide the battery cover horizontally towards the arrow until you hear/feel a click to ensure that the battery cannot be dislodged if the oximeter is moved during use. A secure battery cover also keeps dust or dirt out of the inside of the oximeter.

Turn on the Pulse Oximeter

The pulse oximeter should be powered on by pressing the Function button. Once the OLED display is illuminated, it is evident that the device is powered on. The ability to quickly turn on the pulse oximeter encourages regular use and compliance.

Place Your Finger Correctly

Insert one finger all the way inside the rubber sensor with the fingernail facing up, release the clamp, and maintain this position until you have received both SpO₂ and pulse rate readings. Proper positioning of your finger results in the correct light absorption through the tip of the finger. The ergonomic design of the clip makes it comfortable and easy to hold.

Stay Still During Measurement

Once you have received the SpO₂ and Pulse Rate reading, you should remain as still as possible to avoid moving the unit, which can cause interference with the signal. The stability of your motion will improve the accuracy and reliability of the data being recorded.

Automatically Power Off

After you have taken all of your measurements, the message "Thank you" will appear on the screen, after which the device will automatically shut off. This saves battery power and provides a more enjoyable experience for the user. There is no need to shut down manually.
