Epic is the enterprise EHR used by many health systems, hospitals and large medical groups.
HealthArc integrates with Epic through SMART on FHIR and Epic’s FHIR APIs. Your Epic Technical Coordinator finds HealthArc in Epic Showroom, downloads the HealthArc client record with the Client ID we provide, and approves it for your environment. Each organization approves HealthArc separately.
Diagnoses, insurance and visit history from Epic feed HealthArc’s eligibility screening, so your team starts with a list of patients who qualify for CCM, RPM or APCM instead of a manual chart review.
Monthly care-management summaries and time logs are produced for every enrolled patient. Where your Epic team enables write-back, documentation goes back to the chart; the scope is set during scoping and security review.
Readings from 40+ connected devices sit next to the patient’s problem list and medications, so a high blood pressure alert is read against the full chart.
HealthArc tracks time and device days against each CPT and HCPCS code and produces a monthly billing record for every patient and program.
The same connection serves RPM, CCM, APCM, PCM, RTM, BHI, TCM, MTM and PIN. Adding a program later doesn’t mean a new integration project.
Data moves between Epic and HealthArc under a business associate agreement, encrypted in transit and at rest.
HealthArc programs by specialty: Hospitals & health systems, ACOs, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology.
We confirm the programs you want to run, the providers and locations involved, and who owns clinical work and billing on your side. The HealthArc agreement and business associate agreement are signed before any data moves. You receive the HealthArc Client ID at this step.
