From athenaOne
Back to the chart
athenahealth makes athenaOne, a cloud-based EHR, practice management and revenue cycle platform used by ambulatory medical groups across the U.S. Practices extend it through the athenahealth Marketplace, where third-party solutions are reviewed and connected to athenaOne.
HealthArc joined the athenahealth Marketplace program in November 2024. That listing is how an athenaOne practice turns HealthArc on: your administrator authorizes the connection for your practice, and HealthArc’s implementation team does the rest.
Diagnoses, insurance and visit history from athenaOne feed HealthArc’s eligibility screening, so your team starts with a list of patients who qualify for CCM, RPM or APCM instead of a manual chart review.
Monthly care-management notes, time logs and device-reading summaries are written back to the patient chart. Your providers review them where they already work.
Readings from 40+ connected devices sit next to the patient’s problem list and medications, so a high blood pressure alert is read against the full chart.
HealthArc tracks time and device days against each CPT and HCPCS code and writes the claim back to athenaOne for every billable month, so your billing team reviews and submits it from the system it already uses.
The same athenahealth connection serves RPM, CCM, APCM, PCM, RTM, BHI, TCM, MTM and PIN. Adding a program later doesn’t mean a new integration project.
Data moves between athenaOne and HealthArc under a business associate agreement, encrypted in transit and at rest.
HealthArc programs by specialty: Primary care, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology.
We confirm your athenaOne setup, the programs you want to run, the providers and departments involved, and who owns clinical work and billing on your side. The HealthArc agreement and business associate agreement are signed before any patient data moves.
Make sure the administrator who will authorize HealthArc has their athenahealth Account ID and password ready. The authorization page asks for both, and the account needs administrator permissions.
Open HealthArc’s authorization and consent page on athenahealth’s athenaConnect Marketplace and log in with your athenahealth credentials.
The athenahealth setup guide covers prerequisites, every field that moves each way, and who does what.
