DrChrono is a cloud and iPad-based EHR with integrated practice management and billing, part of EverHealth.
HealthArc connects through the DrChrono API with OAuth 2.0. Your administrator creates an API application in DrChrono, shares its credentials with our team, and authorizes the connection after we configure it. Tokens refresh automatically after that.
Diagnoses, insurance and visit history from DrChrono feed HealthArc’s eligibility screening, so your team starts with a list of patients who qualify for CCM, RPM or APCM instead of a manual chart review.
Monthly care-management summaries and time logs are produced for every enrolled patient. Where the DrChrono API access granted to HealthArc allows it, notes go back to the chart.
Readings from 40+ connected devices sit next to the patient’s problem list and medications, so a high blood pressure alert is read against the full chart.
HealthArc tracks time and device days against each CPT and HCPCS code and produces a monthly billing record for every patient and program.
The same connection serves RPM, CCM, APCM, PCM, RTM, BHI, TCM, MTM and PIN. Adding a program later doesn’t mean a new integration project.
Data moves between DrChrono and HealthArc under a business associate agreement, encrypted in transit and at rest.
HealthArc programs by specialty: Primary care, Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology.
We confirm the programs you want to run, the providers and locations involved, and who owns clinical work and billing on your side. The HealthArc agreement and business associate agreement are signed before any data moves. Your team also receives the Redirect URI to use in DrChrono.

The DrChrono setup guide covers prerequisites, every field that moves each way, and who does what.

No. DrChrono access tokens last 48 hours and HealthArc refreshes them automatically. The refresh token stays valid until it’s revoked or the authorization is repeated.
Creating the application and authorizing it take minutes. Mapping, testing and training follow, and most practices go live in about 30 days.
